There was a lion who feared nothing except the crowing of cocks. A chill would go down his spine whenever he heard a cock crowing.
One day he confessed his fear to the elephant, who was greatly amused.
“How can the crowing of a cock hurt you?” he asked the lion. “Think about it!”
Just then a mosquito began circling the elephant’s head, frightening him out of his wits.
“If it gets into my ear I’m doomed!” he shrieked, flailing at the insect with his trunk.
Now it was the lion’s turn to feel amused.

Moral: If we could see our fears as others see them we would realise that most of our fears make no sense!

Konco-koncoku (kawan-kawanku)

"Give me friends or give me death". A life without friendship is terrible and lonely. We are social beings and friendship is an incredibly important part of our lives. Appreciating friends is something we must always make time for. In today's competitive world it is easy to get up in our careers or our latest project. It is important to keep a sense of perspective. It is nice to rise high in the company but all the money in the world is not going to keep you company on a cold winter night.

Short Sweet Story

Here is a short story with a beautiful message.

Little girl and her father were crossing a bridge. The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, "Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river." The little girl said, "No, Dad. You hold my hand." "What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father.

"There's a big difference," replied the little girl. "If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go."Hold the hand of the person who loves you rather than expecting them to hold yours...

This message is too short......but carries a lot of Feelings.

Lesson To Learn

story that I get from an article in internet..

Ways to Relax, Chill, Calm Down...

~ Turn off the TV. What about going outside and taking a walk? Or better yet talking to your partner or reading to one of yourself?

~ Limit the time you spend online, another time sucker.

~ Don't nuke your food. We don't need to go and light a fire to cook a meal, but how about
avoiding the microwave? Simplify: veggies, fruit, protein, and a non-white starch.

~ Did cavemen drink soda and frozen juices? I know they taste great, and hit the spot, but when did we stop drinking water? All I'm suggesting is stop making the sugary drinks the means in which we hydrate (including diet, they fatten you up too).

~ Stop and take a deep breath. We are all in such a hurry: If you can steal 5 to 30 minutes a day to just stop and meditate, or pray, do it!

~ Move. Part of being able to handle the intense pace of life is to be strong enough physically to deal with it.
